So a cop sees I don't have plates and thinks I'm breaking the law so he gets to shoot me and you'll call it suicide.
In the process of resisting arrest, if you pose a deadly threat to the police officer or the public, you WILL get shot. In every other instance, the police will not shoot you.

Of course, you have the right to remain silent, but you do NOT have the right to continue breaking any law you feel like. Even the failure to display proper license plates is a serious issue, since you could represent a hazard on the road.
