NCMountainGirl Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt and Mike Madrid were all as giddy as teenage girls last night on their live stream when talking about how the Trump campaign has "gone dark" in several batteground states, shutting down ad buys, because of lack of funds. Never have such determined grifters skimmed off so much campaign cash with so little foresight. They noted there are more battleground states in 2020 than in 2016 and Biden now has the financial edge in getting his message out. Perhaps even more significant was the information that Trump's data harvesting campaign has also pulled back its spending. Between 2012 and 2016 the GOP had reversed the edge the Democrats had in 2008 and 2012 in identifying their voters and getting them to the polls. The data operation was a key factor in Trump's ability to draw an inside straight to win in the electoral college in 2016.
