Ann, yes, digital is like binary, or ones and zeroes. Analog has all kinds of different voltage levels. ADI did well today. In computer companies, digital types think analog types are weird because they like to play with that kind of stuff. Like the article says, things like digital phones and wireless communications systems are full of ADI type chips.

I guess I'm still too chicken, though, re ADI. But, whoever was interested enough to ask about it ought to like the looks of the info in the article, FWIW.
