Basically Genesis is the new computer system onto which CKFR will move all its transactions. Kight says it will have capacity to serve up to one-third of all u.s. households (so should be good for at least a couple of years)

Perhaps there's a CKFR employee lurking somewhere who can fill us in in more detail. I think there's also some stuff in the annual report, if you go back and dig. My own opinion is that there is a very remote risk of total catasrphe should there be some screw-up while changing over. But I have faith that this has occurred to Pete Kight and that he's going to be properly paranoid.
