Telecommunications stocks...too bad we are not sharing in this advance! Brief: Topsy-turvy industry put in a very strong session and is now up nearly 5.9% year-to-date... Lucent leading the charge... Stock rallied over 2 points and is approaching upper end of 6-month trading range... Tellabs rose 11% on surge in volume (6.5 mln shares) in positive, albeit delayed, reaction to solid earnings news... Andrew keeps on climbing (+1 3/4)... Stock up 46.3% in two weeks!... Also back above 200-day moving average... Next resistance is at 33... Advanced Fibre which releases earnings today, skyrocketed 4 1/8, or 15%, ahead of its report... Volume totalled an impressive 1.5 mln shares, well above average... Must get above 33-35 range before buy signal confirmed... Support in the 27-26 range.
