JLF, suggest we reserve the A-bomb for the chuckster, although it occurs to me that might be overkill given the caliber of the opposition. (And yes I know that Thurow has wandered off the reservation a few times and don't regard him as a guru, much prefer Friedman. Lester still gets a few in on target from time to time and I thought his SEA analysis was very effective. Can't buy his thesis that the world is going to drop the $ and jump on the ecu as a reserve currency any time soon though. Mike Doyle
