Steve thanks again .. ? Your opion and advise please , my Broker seems to have hard time grasping margins requied for these spread plays and makes me neveros when I have to tell him I am just doing same thing others are doing and I am reading it right out of Mc Millin , then he says ok I will put it in and see if we get in troubel . One good thing is he lets me be short 24 hrs if I step in one leg at a time , ? do other brokers do that also ,with out haveing to have a lot of money or securitys on account ? Also he does give me big discount on fees HE SAYS, Smith Barney, but I still pay lots , buy or sell 10 options $86 , 20 options maybe $105 , 30 options maybe $ 130 , sometimes maybe 10 % or 15 % of the time if I close loseing postion and options are cheap he takes no commision I guess he doesnot want to rub it in . So perhaps you and others reading this think I am a fool and spending to much money useing this guy ! So I am open for sugestions, I get alittel nevous about tradeing on line , 1) might make some mistake in order entry, 2) Like to place I think what are limit orders , 3) need a good systems for keeping track of trades and open postions , 4) like to have live conformations from broker that order has been filled . Steve I know that in order to do these spreads , and buy cheap protective puts I am going to have to make a change ! Any advise , coments , or recomendations would be greatley appreciated ..
