You can live in a smaller city if you prefer.

Adelaide is charming but it doesn't take more than a month for it to be too small for me. Perth is larger, but in the end I know would be too small as well.

They're appealing, but if I moved to Australia I'd end up living in Sydney or Melbourne like almost everyone else.

I understand people like the rural life of Queensland, but it's not for me.

You often claim "governments force people to live in cities", but the only government actions I ever see are trying to force people out of cities - or prevent them from moving there - often allegedly for their own good, or more often for the benefit of the elites who live in the city.
