Note that the changes lifting the circuit breaker rules were just approved. When this puppy blows it'll be spectacular!

The only thing I can think is that the Asians have decided to buy US stocks. They don't give a darn about valuations, the stock market is used as a casino. It just means that US investors will need to get used to huge swings in the market. That is why I think brokerages will survive nicely, they know know to profit from this.
