This Vs-840 thing really isn't new news. Roland has had a contract with Iomega for a couple of years now. This is also the reason why they didn't start including the SyQuest SyJet when they dropped the Jaz from the Vs-880. They were under exclusive contract to OEM Iomega products.

The good news is that if indeed this Roland Vs-840 news release by Iomega was the instigator of the rally today, it means that The Street was looking for ANY excuse to move it up. I feel if Iomega were to announce a stock buyback right now, the results would be very good to the stock price.
