Tonyt, I agree 100% that trading is a winning strategy in this sector. I have traded in and out of LGND twice in 97 (10.25 to 12.875, 12.25 to 16). On Wednesday I loaded up on 6000 LGNDW (and wish I had bought 3x more on margin <G> ) at the opening at 5.5 and sold Friday at 6.875. I may regret not staying in longer but couldn't resist taking my chips off the table on Friday with a two day 20+% move. I may be preaching to the choir, but beware the hype on LGND. There hasn't, IMHO, been a serious discussion on competition to its pipeline in treating cancer or diabetes. Good luck on AMLN. Steve T.
