Rarebird, I've stopped watching presidential debates a long time ago. Over the past several decades, it has not been about presenting and defending one's positions. Instead, they have become spectator sports.

I kid you not, the entire media judges candidates based on the following "credentials":

- Who acts most "presidential"?

- Who made the most gaffes?

- Who failed the most "fact-checks"?

- Who had the most viral zingers?

Absolutely nothing that the candidates say during the debate mean anything. They're just actors on a stage.

I noticed that only these days, the Democrats are starting to agree with my viewpoint, but their ulterior motives are as plain as day. They're afraid that Joe Biden would get slaughtered.
