Paul, I am watching ETEC quite closely in order to establish a position. However, their machines can cost $10 million. I know for a fact that one large Korean company was not able to get a letter of credit to buy a much smaller amount of chips from a US manufacturer.
If they have any order from one of these Asian companies, I see no way that it does not get pushed out or cancelled. With this super volatile stock, I see the stock at $30 or less on such news, much as it plunged from $36 to 22 on an adverse announcement in the Fall of 1996.

Has anyone asked mgmt (on the last conference call or elsewhere) what exposure they have to troubled Asian companies in terms of potentially delayed or cancelled orders? If you have not, I think it would be quite prudent to do so. I for one bought a small amount of DPMI recently, which I thought was the better investment at the relative prices. The only reason I did not buy more was because of this ETEC risk, which I think would rub off on DPMI if it did happen.
