Most ICU patients get supplemental oxygen at some point during their stay, but the RN usually starts it. Prior to covid, many ICU/CCU patients didn't have contact with RT.

The closest I've come was a rather feeble attempt at a panty raid one warm spring night in college. IIRC, it was during the week, so it only got as far as a sober mob standing on the street, and we dispersed when the cops told us to.
