Interesting, I'm familiar with the Apple computer O/S "shared library" system, which shares information common to various programs, allowing one program to perform tasks built into another program. Apple and others like Sun-Java have been working on developing this system more fully to be like what your post describes. In fact, Apple's Cyberdog browser has gone the furthest in achieving this goal. Should be interesting to see the outcome someday.

Too bad a certain company is so dominate that they stunt the developement to groundbreaking software ideas. Apple has proven itself to be better at O/S developement, but nobody cares since they aren't part of the MS/Intel Cartel.
