Thanks for the info. I have until April 1, but I want to go ahead and move on. What I really want to do is hold on long enough until I can get cable modem. Not fond of being a cyber nomad, but not fond of paying through the buttocks either.

Wired for the Future: Demand grows for houses with networks

Digital Interiors has hundreds of other upscale clients, including
former Giants outfielder Willie Mays, WebTV co-founder Phil Goldman,
and Steve Bienke, president of the Blackhawk development company.
Such clients typically pay $30,000 or more for advanced
home-network and automation systems, Quisisem said.

Digital Interiors is wiring several other new housing projects in Danville,
Union City and Fremont. But at Rosecrest, it is working
in formal partnership with 3Com Corp. of Santa Clara, which supplies
the networking hardware, and Pacific Bell, which offers speedy data
connections to the homes, such as ISDN or digital subscriber lines.

Asia up, but Japan didn't get the news. They are down a little under 2%.
