Huge volume on MINI there today...seems like it was a big block purchase that did it.

Large Volume Buys Mutual Funds seem to be accumulating beaten down financial/credit and banking concerns lately. Single large colume buys (thanks for mentioning that Lou) occurred today for: PFP - 10.00 CORR - 25.625 (gapped up to new 6 mo. high with lots of buys) RMPO - 9.00 The last one looks especially good for accumulation as its been basing around 9. I posted earlier in January that I expected the funds to move their money from selling off the overpriced techs into the financial sector. Asian issues obviously gave them pause before they started - good thing as large accumulation and multiple large block buys in this sector means a lot of the homework on them is done for us already. Anyone who follows this sector regularly, please post your thoughts. I would like to expand that to others who don't post bcause they feel they aren't 'qualified' to post, or are afraid they will get bashed if they are wrong, or that they need to post something regularly. Since I don't know anyone who reads this or posts here who can retire to Boca to play tennis with Jenna just yet...except Lou Esposito maybe. SI gets 8500 posts and 350,000 hits a day. The 100,000 profiled users are only a fraction of the readership. I read everything posted, and repect all of your opinions. Someone out there may benefit from your input. And if you don't have a subscription or weren't 'grandfathered' in before it became a paying service, email me or one of the regulars and we will post for you.
