I think today may have been a result of the anticipated BAAN earnings which are no longer anticipated. They missed their first call estimates by .01....14 vs. 15. This may not bode well for PSFT tomorrow because they are both ERP vendors (unfortunately). However, BAAN was downgraded today by DLJ and I think also had a few downgrades not so long ago so this shouldn't have been a big surprise. Unlike PSFT which receives nothing but positive comments. When that rumor was running around about them preannouncing several weeks ago I thought something must be up. Must have been even worse if they couldn't come up with .01 since I'm sure they pulled out all the stops to hit the .14. Unlike PSFT which receives nothing but positive comments. Maybe PSFT has started to erode their ERP space?? In any case, I expect a very positive report on Tuesday and think we should see the high 30's again..I don't want to jinx this by saying 40 but that is certainly a possibility. I also would appreciate it if these analysts could get their 40 price target in line with my target. But the way the analysts seem to operate they probably won't change the target from 40 until the stock is at 45<g>.

Why are you so sure it should stablize here?
