The Senate does not have to complete any hearings... there is none required by law...

Moving right to a vote is an acceptable and available option... the Senate majority may consider that the best option if the assault on Barrett is too egregious for Barrett and for America, we don't have to endure the Kavanaugh treatment all over again...

Since she is virtually assured of an affirmative vote, I think it would be wise for her to say almost nothing during the hearings... she need not give away any tips as to how she might rule on any given topic, she's in a good position to proceed in the Senate confirmation process any way she thinks is to her advantage...

As a country, we're blessed with the particular mechanics of this situation because we voted in a Republican president and a Republican Senate... Donald will win reelection and we'll then increase our majority in the Senate, and we'll also take the House for Donald's second term...

Just think of the mind-blowing progress that could be ours if we do this...

I would love to see Teds Cruz on the bench. Unfortunately, he has said he wants to stay in the political fight for President. I think Cruz wants a shot at the 2024 Presidential Election. I'd vote for him then. I hope he sticks it out and prepares for that. He would be a worthy successor to Trump to solidify Trump's gains for the American people.
