Appreciate the info. Will they go into the history of trades in equities to determine how "accident prone" one may be to trading?

Brokers with low min. equity requirement? I'm looking for brokers with a low minimum requirement to open an account. I'm not satisfied with my current broker DLJ, but I'd like try out a few others to see if they are better before I close out my account. Most brokers I've talked to require 10K up front (although you don't have to trade that amount, of course). I'm currently using the Option Advisor, optionadvisor.com for investment ideas and education.
