Actually gov initiatives with Black History month piss a lot of folks off.. even my kid's generation well Millennial and Gen Z .. They are right though.. We DO NOT NEED A BLACK HISTORY MONTH IN CANADA.. we need ALL OF OUR HISTORY TAUGHT at all levels appropriately .. Like WHY were their BLACK towns in Nova Scotia in the 1800s !! ?? remnants today ? We need to face our truths and not make a phony pageant of them... Same with We do not need a Chinese history month or a South Asian History month.. JUST FACE REALITY OF WHAT WAS AND WHAT IS BECOMES UNDERSTANDABLE...
