David:

I thought it was highly likely after they announced a DBS joint venture with Modi of India. L-Star 1 provides excellent coverage of India. But, we just got a letter from Loral CEO saying ,"The recent political situation in India, which has resulted in changes in the government, may temporarily postpone our investment plans until the appropriate legislation is enacted...." So, the situation is totally unclear at the moment. The orbital slot is correct, but timing is everything. Loral could probably buy out L-Star for $400 to 500 million total. Do you have access to any after hours quotes David? If you do, could you see what Loral is doing? Thanks.
