With regards to the 3g standard selected today by ETSI this little statment by QCOM from a Total Telecom Article. Any opinions on how this may effect QCOM ?

Qualcomm, the US vendor, owns many of the patents for
CDMA technologies. It has said it intends to make a statement on

<<The contrarian notion is that this is a tremendous opportunity for cash rich firms in Europe, America, and Taiwan. What if LOR can leverage what are obviously huge cancellation penalties into ownership of the systems?>> Hey, Mike; I really like that style of thinkin'!

Regards.
