I agree with you--winning Florida as well as Ohio would be amazing. It would kill any chance of Trump winning or even disputing the election. Although he has already shown a propensity for saying pretty much anything no matter how stupid and at odds with reality. He apparently believes that words can create reality.

Maybe the Biden people think that Bloomberg's money will suffice. I doubt it. I think as many Hispanic proxies as possible should be down there. Including of course Kamala. But DeSantis and the Republican stranglehold on statewide races is a problem. I don't doubt for a second that they will do everything they can to suppress the vote in Democratic areas of the state. They have already shown their disdain for the word of the people when they passed that law about ex-felons having to pay in full their fines before being allow to vote. We don't have debtors prisons any more. And we don't tell people who declare bankruptcy that they can't vote. Or people who owe taxes that they can't vote. It should be unconstitutional to do that but somehow the Florida judiciary allows it.

It is an uphill fight until the Rs in power can be replaced. They are nuts--they even are running someone for Congress who is a QAnon believer/member.
