From the Yahoo thread: I listen for 1 hour on this call. Chuck (CEO) was very up beat about the future. He used words like strong and great for 1998. He said that the RBOCS are all in hurry to deploy HDSL. But some of them would be going to school by using some smaller unknown companies. That when Pair rolls out its product 2nd half of year that it will be very mature product and a good product. Extremely upbeat call and the future looks bright. Pricing pressures are 1 or 2qts away from stopping. All the big guns were asking question: Soundview, Hamberg & Quist, Wheat First, Nationsbank, Fidelity, Goldman Sacks, Furnman Selz etc. One analyst said congradulations on meeting the qt. and year projections when some thought you would not. We should see recommendations coming soon. This is the kind of company that will fly this year 25% growth a year and low Asia exposure. Also CEO said US West is still there customer.

Where is Gary Korn? He is known for complete and detailed reviews of CCs, at least on the ASND thread. Perhaps he has left us for other, better known companies. My hope for Pair as a trading vehicle is being dashed as this firm exhibits such uncertainity, minimal visibility and lack of technological leadership. I thought PAIR was known for "First and Best", however it now seems to be "Wait and See"! I respect those of you who have lived w/ Pair for many years, maybe you can straighten me out. While I wait for my GTC order to be filled at 19 1/2 and then to say goodbye, any suggections for a good trading stock? By best to you all, I wish you profitable days ahead!
