Holes in the ground are deceptive. If you've ever seen the hole they dig for a skyscraper you'd think they could fit the Death Star in it.
I did not want a big house. My kids and hers are grown and gone. Just the two if us plus the occasional guest.

I’ve gone from 4,400 sf when I lived in Seattle area, to 3,400 sf here in E. Washington, and going to just under 2,200 sf in the new place.

I only use about 20% of the current place as it is.
