Sounds like it's right down the Q's alley. Eh!

Now who do we know who is say smart "(This would increase the complexity greatly)", has previous experience with a squared duopoly (?) "(voice and one for wideband data coupled with dual band dual mode terminals)" and has products chirping off the end of a conveyor belt "(stepped self regulated pace) "?

I also wonder if Alex could send ... Sure darn convinced me to stop buying the stuff.

Welcome to KuComAir (TM), Michael.

From the TotalTelecom release "ETSI Pulls Off 3G Deal and Wins Asian Support"

"Qualcomm, the US vendor, owns many of the patents for CDMA technologies. It has said it intends to make a statement on the subject tomorrow "

Qcom is in a position to save them years of scratching their head (and other areas) if this new system is intended to go mobile.

Tomorrow, we will know what Qcom intends to do.

Michael, Qdog and Engineer, what do you make of their TDMA/CDMA air-air interface. I am lost on anything past AM and FM modulation. But, for the life of me, I can't figure out why this would be a feature, except to try to do an endrun around Qualcomm.

Also, if they are having a separate band for voice, why use 5Mhz channel spacing? How can components that are "linear" across four times the bandwidth ever be cheap enough to compete on cost?
