The implied put-down of anyone who doesn't use your exact investment strategy is clear.

There are some people who recognize the risks inherent in options trading, and who choose to simply buy stocks and hold them. Many of these people expect to hold their stocks for many years before realizing meaningful gains. They are content with gains of less than 50% per year. This is hardly a 'win the lottery' strategy.
