NPR radio Market Place segment on Cymer just aired 3 PM PST. Nothing new. Historical thumbnail sketch of Cymer and ups/downs of its stock. "Cymer's DUV laser is the only DUV laser available in commercial quantities" said Akins. "if we can hold on to this bucking bronco we have a bright future ahead of us" said Angus. Tulvio

About DSO calculation: don't forget they have two items
on the balance sheet: A/R and FX A/R
Doing the math, DSO for the past 7 quarters were:
70 83 93 111 137 133 139
Very aggressively stuffing the channels (in this case the
steppers WIPs "work in progress").
The A/R is $90.4m.... that's about 200 lazers at ASP of
0.45m each, that's
a lot of lazers at the stepper manufactures that
are not yet paid for. Note, they shipped 133 lazers this
past Q.

How many on this thread are in this stock because of
the Cabot letter? This thread is just HUGE... just a giant herd.
No wonder the stock chart looks the way it does over the past
two years.

I was wrong on my previous DSO posts. FX A/R and FX A/P
cancel out each other. So, here are the DSO numbers
for the past 8 Qs:
87 70 83 62 73 89 88 91 <-- most recent Q.
basically flat at 90 days over the past 9 months.
