Fiat money is thre plenty since 1974 or thereabout.

That does not mean that gold is any worthier than other useful metals like Ni for are not prone to oxidation and have much more use in producing useful things like Super ALLOYS FOR HIGH TEMPERATURE NUCLEAR REACTORS as an example WHERE GOLD IS USELESS and Ni assist in lowering the effects of climate change

Barbarians accumulating Au will die of overheating and starving if climate change will run out of control then at least I would cheer with a glass of great wine if I would be still alive
