There's a nail spa next to a coffee shop I used to go to. I'd see the women in there wearing dust masks, and wonder if they thought dust masks provided protection from the heavy concentrations of volatile organic vapors noticeable outside the door of the place.

What type of masks do competent nail spa workers wear?
