To All:

Does Microsoft's NT OS work on the coming Merced microprocessors from Intel?

Any answers will be greatly appreciated.

Bob

Gene: Here's more on NT! This is truely amazing. NT is going to supercede everything MSFT has done up to now.

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Amdahl Corp., its DMR
Consulting Group unit, and Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) formed an
alliance to integrate the Windows NT operating systems and
OS/390 environments.

On another topic, the Forbes article mentioned on the INTC thread was really weird (re:INTC faked their results). What is with these bear analysts? Now they are LYING to try and make things look bad. Hardly anyone has noticed that INTC's $.98 earnings were the full DILUTED earnings. The $1.07 basic earnings are probably the number that should have been compared to the $.90 consensus. So, INTC really beat earnings nearly 20%.

Well, PSFT reports tomorrow, and I think CSCO is later this week. By the time AMAT reports next week, we'll feel a lot richer, I think.

All the best,
Tom

BTW - did you get my E-mail in repsonse to your e-mail test last week?
