Hi Tom- Actually it was apropos... something about people getting wiped out by fast moving cars. Max Headroom as a trio! :-) CTAL had a LIFO gain, of course, since (assuming I don't screw it up! :-) AIM assures us of that as a minimum. But in the case of CTAL the basis is pretty low so I have a FIFO gain there as well. You recall helping me use Newport to handle the warrants they sold back in August of last year. The stock corrected after the issue and it's finally come back. They have great sales thanks to their new pharmaceuticals facility in Greenville, NC. CTAL had their first-ever positive quarter in Sept. This qtr (Dec. report), however, they commited to some very large capital expenditures to that same facility and the earnings went back to zero. Thankfully the market didn't beat them up for it. Bruce
