Even with their patents its been very hard for them to continue operations! Patents on a computer implementation, a connector that no one wants, and a semiconductor package that hasn't exactly taken the industry by storm are hardly the cornerstone for any potential owners to build on. Realistically, I don't even think Panda's patents are worth the $2M that Helix has put up for them. I think that Helix believes in all of Crane's hype and BS, but seeing that they have a member on Panda's board, they bear much of the responsibility for letting Crane run the operation into the ground. They'll get just what they deserve. Patents that are worth about as much as the company's stock.
