Wow Scott! I know OZON is working with one of the big three in the beef area but these guys look like serious competitors. Still I suppose that like I've said all along there is going to be real competition in this industry. I'm going to try and work in as many URL's as possible here in the next few minutes to make it easier for those who are interested to research this company and some related sites in on the use of ozone decontamination in the food industry.

The news in the post 2528 came out at 5:27 pm est.
It will be interesting to see if this news effects
OZON tomorrow. Yahoo still doesn't have it but
PC Quote does. PRNewswire seems to be the only coverage
so far. Tru-Pure Ozone Technologies isn't traded publicly.

Re>Thorn Apple Valley is known throughout the meat processing
industry for its leadership in product quality assurance,"

Now being a vegetarian I'm no expert but isn't Thorn Apple
Valley low end processed cold cuts? Anybody?

Hi Scott,COMPETITION IS THE HALLMARK OF SUCCESS

Glad to see you post this timely information. It sure helps all investors on the thread and we stay well informed. It also gives us the feeling that our heads are not buried in the sand.

like it has been mentioned in the past there are going to be a number of companies entering this arena and the pie is big enough for a lot of companies. I liked this line in particular :

The meat, poultry and food processing industries are aggressively examining emerging technologies for even greater quality assurance," Dorfman said.

If the test results prove successful we should this technology being applied on a very large scale. These factors will help a lot in establishing the ground work for the ozone technology on a broder level.

It really does not matter if there is more competition in the area as it will only lead to better quality systems and more technological innovations which will inspire high tech applications. Now the key here in this industry i know for a fact having talked to at least two insiders in the industry is that it is a very water tight group. Very few will be able to tap out the market. To do that you need a combination 3 qualities:

1. In depth knowledge of these systems so it can be retrofitted anywhere which i believe that Cyclopss has been heavily concentrating on. They not only have been in the business long enough but they also have very capable people who are going to make this a reality there.
They are also very sure of the application to various foods and still maintain a lead over others by 6 months. They have two companies who are currently testing their equipment for results on poultry.

2. Money to pursue this arena as it has a high burn rate. This is a public company and i have said it before that it is not hard for public cos to generate finances. One round of financing has been done and two more rounds are available but the other options of financing is not public info. I can tell you for a fact there are a lot of innovative financing techniques which can improve a balance sheet like debt mergers, use of dead equity, and long term financing etc.

3. The most important of all: All the right people are in Cyclopss to ensure that this will be a success. Melinda Ballard and Mike lakis have enormous experience with processed foods and produce. They are heavy weights in the food industry. They will ensure that some doors are opened and a fair hearing is given to this technology. Also on the technology research and implementation has some experts like Amy waldorp helping Cyclopss geared for the challenges ahead. Cyclopss will keep building a bigger team to tackle this sector as this area is one where only good contacts work.

This industry will have many many options and the one who sounds right all the way will win the food wars. Besides am i glad that they have other lines of business going on like the laundry, Medical sterilization and Polymer industry. If they did not have multiple irons in the fire i would have dropped long ago.

Again very informative article and lets buckle up for a ride as soon the test results are out.

Regards,

Sri.
