Tom:

Fortunately, I never bought this stock, though I have been watching it closely in the past few months as it has declined from 30 to 10.

I think this is one of those cases where the market "knew". Maybe insiders selling, but more likely management hinting to analysts that things were shaky.

Of course, selling their accounts receivable at Ingram Micro to a third party seemed unusual for a company supposedly doing so well, and saying Ingram Micro, the biggest and best distributor by far, was being slow to pay was probably not a smart move. Maybe Ingram was slow because the product wasn't moving.

I would be hesitant to buy this stock at even $5 a share, given the current circumstances.

One of the biggest problems is that this company has had difficulty making money, even in better times. I suspect they are paying the retail chains huge amounts of money to put their products on the shelves and to get good positioning. They need to cut back on that.

But most importantly, they need to sell products that deliver on their promises...
