To All: EGGS was featured in an article in the business section of the LA Times today. The article was largely positive about their move to internet marketing and alluded to other internet marketing companies high share prices implying EGGS might join them. My observation of articles like this in the Times is they usually move a stock around 10 to 15%. Normally a few days later the price returns to normal. I suspect much of the upward move today in EGGS came from this.
All the Best

Thanks jeff for your picks, if I get a chance this weekend I will download them and look them over...
Just learned another pride lesson....XYLN moved above a pattern at 15.00...That was the neckline...Should have been out yesterday, if I would have followed my disciplines...When volume was high and tight-bid-ask, that is breakout, that is a fund buying......Out today at 2 3/4 loss...It was not a shakeout, I don't know where I left my brain....Also NVLS is in a rectangle pattern from 30-35...Not a shakeout...The strength seems to be toward the upper side of the rectangle at present, but the pattern is holding...So I will stay short on that one...Regards, Mark

Jeff, I like how you pick your shorts..I looked at two of them, JDAS and SMMT...You are a flag pole player....Now that is agressive trading if I ever saw it...
Of the two I looked at the one that looks ready to go down is JDAS...
Flag pole pattern, ADX peak pattern is lower than last ADX peak in this price area..Tells me trend is weakening...Stock did not close near its high...I would say some selling pressure has already taken place...First cover area is 38.75, and then 35.00...Looks like a Head and Shoulder Top, with right and left shoulder, with this being last gasp for air....Another Hunchback of Notre Dame with two right shoulders...

SMMT....
Intial pullback to 13.50, with possibility of attempt to fill gap in 11.50-12.00 area....ADX peak again smaller than previous peak...Trend weakening....

Two good picks for an aggressive short trader...Keep the picks coming...Just don't have the time for four picks....Maybe you can give us a read on KPG and ASF...

Regards, Mark

Subject: ASF

I shorted this one today, at 46 1/4. Someone on AOL pointed out that it's up about 77% in the past 7 trading days, which seems to be unsustainable. I won't hold this long-term, but if it corrects in the near-term, as I expect, I'll cover.

I'm not sure what target to shoot for; maybe 40.
