If republicans cared about "life" as you suggest they'd pump money into families and women who are pregnant. Instead, they borrow trillions and give it to the rich. I agree they have the Evangelical vote but none of them are Christian. They're conservatives pretending to be Christian. A Christian would never vote for a party that systematically bankrupts the country with mountains of debt - a party that's destroying their country. A conservative doesn't care. Evangelicals don't care.
