To all, As you are all aware by now I will be joining Dick Jensen and Global Platinum and Gold effective February 1st. Dick and I have discussed my joining GPGI for well over a year and I am very pleased and excited that the time is now. I truly feel that 1988 will be the year that puts Global on the map as the leader of the Desert Dirt's and puts the Desert Dirt's on the map as viable mining properties. I know that some of you have questions as to my background and experience and you all wonder if I can make a positive contribution to our objectives of establishing Global as a player in the precious metals arena and having our stock price reflect the potential which many of us feel is there. Please allow this letter to serve as my introduction to all BACKGROUND Born, 1936, and raised in Brooklyn New York. Military: Three years U.S. Army Education: BS Electrical Engineering, Louisiana State University, (Korean GI Bill) Work History in chronological order; Eight-years with IBM , first as an engineer working on the Saturn V Moon Rocket and five years in the Data Processing Division as a systems engineer and later as a computer salesman marketing main frame systems to the banking and financial community. Eight-years with the Itel corporation as salesman, director of marketing and VP of Marketing for two different divisions of Itel. In the last year of employment with Itel, as VP of Marketing, my division did $26MM in revenue with a staff of thirty-six Regional Managers, Branch Managers and salesman nationwide in the data services industry. That year Itel did $360MM in revenue. Eight-years in the stock brokerage industry as a stock broker, securities trader, (market maker), and president of Alliance Securities in Salt Lake City, Utah. managing a wholesale and a retail stock brokerage operation. For the past eight-years I have owned, and still own, and operate an air tour business in the Hawaiian Islands. Over the years I have gained experience in marketing, management, public speaking, contract negations, communications and working with the NASD and running a business and in life. I feel that all of this experience will be put to good use at Global Platinum. I am very familiar with Dick Jensen and Global Platinum, having been one of Globals' first market makers, MM, and since then an investor in the company. My familiarity with Global will allow Me to get up to speed very quickly. Specifically Dick intends to utilize me in any aspect of Global's operation where I can make a contribution and not just in PR. I consider myself to be intelligent, personable, articulate, motivated, enthusiastic and loyal. I have been privileged, in my past, to have worked for two very enlightened very well managed corporations, Itel and IBM. I have learned that the main function of management is to establish aggressive goals and then work toward solving problems and eliminating obstacles which stand in the way of achieving those goals. I come to Global at this time for several reasons. First of all Dick and I have been friends for many years and I feel that we will work very well together. Over the years I have developed a very healthy respect for Dick. He has accomplished an incredible feat in bringing global to where we are now. I am a true believer in Globals' potential and future and I want to take an active part in that future. As a believer I have a very significant part of my net worth invested in Global stock with every share purchased on the open market without a single share of RULE 144 stock. At present, like most of you, my average purchase price is higher than the present market value of Global. So my reason for joining Global is also enlightened self interest in that I need to help Dick Jensen get the price of the stock up. FOR ME! You can plan on my being with Global for the next eight-years at which time I will probably try my hand at ranching or something equally divergent. While I have posted very few messages to this thread, I do read them all. I have a good understanding as to how all of you feel and what all of you want. After all.I am one of you. I will be pleased to speak with any one at any time, as has Dick Jensen for many years. Presently Jensen receives upwards of fifty calls per day from us. It makes it very difficult to get anything done at a time where there is much to be done. Therefore I do like the idea of a single person to maintain contact for the group. This person can communicate with the group and act as a conduit between us. I feel that establishing such a dialog can only benefit Global Platinum & Gold. After all you are our shareholders. It is extremely important for us to maintain close and good relations with our shareholders. I look forward to making verbal contact with your selected representative. Please call me at the new Global office in SLC, phone # unknown, lets say about the 10th of February. I will be off line as I complete the move from Hawaii to Salt Lake city. Once in SLC I will connect up with this thread and go from there. Keep the Faith, Dennis
