Do I get $64? "$64 Question should be "how many 'points' do Creative's Patents cover?"" It covers any number of points, but the general process of interpolation is a typical mathematical procedure used daily by students, scientist, engineers, etc.. The patent indicates a particular format that the interpolation takes, and a table listing a group of numbers used in the calculation. It is not too difficult to create an interpolation somewhat different that still gets similar results. Most of the other synth companies perform multipoint interpolation, Ensoniq, Kurzweil, Roland, etc...
