The problem is that Bill Clinton, despite his protestations, has no respect for the office of the President -- figuratively and literally. The White House operatives will "stone wall" this scandal as long as they can and hope that others will destroy Monica Lewinsky's reputation and credibility -- like that disloyal "drama" teacher. (As Imus said, "she managed to find the only non-gay drama teacher in America!") As long as she doesn't get immunity, it's a "she said/he said" situation despite the tapes. It's only a matter of time until there'll be whispers that Tripp and Lewinsky made this all up together for revenge and in a "conspiracy to get Bill." Who needs soap operas -- we've got Washington!
