Hi ZE,

Nice to know your daughter is marrying well. <smile>

Ever since 1987 I've gone fishing in the Gulf of Mexico out of Venice LA. What a fantastic fishery.

At that time a young graduate from Louisiana state was struggling with a new charter service. His name was Mike Frenette. He believed in going after fish by catching their natural bait. So the first thing every morning was to catch natural bait depending on what you were targeting.

Fast forward to today, after being wiped out by several hurricanes, it is hard to find a day when he is available.

His two sons now also captain daily charters.

Great service with room and board on his barge "The Redwood Lodge".

So many different species to chase after. If the weather is rough, one can always go sight casting for bull redfish.

If not and the weedline is close Blue Marlin, sail fish,Tuna and the super fun to catch Bull Dolphin.

Pull up to a drilling rig and Amberjack, Grouper and Snapper are suspended at different depths. Heck ,I need a salt water fix just typing about it! <smile>
