Little Engine, Personally I think you are full of hogwash. When the financials come out that WILL be the proof.

I don't know what kind of motivation or grudge you have, but you sure seem to be bent on tearing this stock down.

I have a copy of the financials for the fist 6 months of 1997. The NET INCOME is $1,265,854.14. That is an EPS of .06 cents for the first 6 months.

Yes, this is a NET INCOME figure. In case you do not understand NET income. I took the GROSS income less the operating expense and came up with the NET income. So you do the math.

You are the one that has been playing a Clinton by not directly answering the questions as to whether or not you are a broker, work for a broker or work in the financial industy. Also you have never answered the question as to why you would spend so much time on a stock that you have no intention of buying.

"When the audit shows the GROSS earnings as 11 cents per share, Ira will point and say "there they are, just like I told you, eleven cents per share of earnings." The only problem is that the NET earnings will probably be a tenth of that, about one cent per share, current P/E of about 27."

Thanks for all your hard speculation keep on trucking someday you will make sense.

Have a nice night.

Okay folks, YOU be the judge. Here is an EXACT verbatim quote of the question and the answer from today's conference call.

Jennifer: "Your earnings estimated for the year, earnings per share?"

Ira: "Oh, just from the numbers I've been getting back... ah, rough numbers from the accountants, I would say we'll probably finish somewhere in the vicinity of about 11›, maybe 11 and a half. Somewhere in that range."

To me this is pretty plain English. EPS is 11›.

Best wishes,
Brad

Little Engine,

I truly appreciate that you are forcing us to think more carefully about this stock. However, you'd better be careful with that "stake," lest you miss Firamada's heart and end up with some splinters!

It seems to me that there are a number of possible cracks in your "proof." Emphasis on POSSIBLE. I'm not saying they are there, but any criminal court here in the USA requires proof "beyond a reasonable doubt." Likewise, because most of us seriously doubt Ira would try to pull off the stunt you are expecting, you're going to need to have a very solid proof to before we're going to be willing to convict him.

If Ira is, as you claim, using language rather loosely (e.g. stating gross earnings when the context obviously implies net earnings) would it not be equally possible that when he says Firamada "did 8.7 million in 97" that the figure of 8.7 million refers to gross earnings? If so, then a 30% net would produce just about 11 cents per share. Hard to accept, yes, but I find it even harder to imagine that a company such as his would earn, as you suggest, only 1 cent per share. My sister started a LOW-END temp employment agency (i.e. placing people to haul, sweep, turn widgets, etc..) in the late 80s (and sold it in 1996 for 1.7 million.) The entire company consisted of her and 6 employees in one 1200 square foot building. That little company generated 3 million in gross sales per year, and a net of $300,000. If, as you suggest, Firamada only made a NET of 1 cent per share, then Firamada's net income was $250,000--less than what my 25 year-old sister was generating in her little office placing blue-collar workers and recent immigrants in menial labor and minimum wage positions!!!!! C'mon! I know you like to dissect statements--and that's great--but you've got to look at the plausibility of what you're concluding. I'm not disputing the logic of what you're saying--just the conclusion you're reaching. It truly suggests that some of your assumptions are off. That's why I, like the rest of us bozos on this thread, am simply betting on what looks like a good shot, and saying "JEEZ, I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THOSE FINANCIALS."

Little Engine;

A brief response to your post. I presume that everyone here is becoming as tired of your partial truths, specious and erroneous logic and self serving rants. I certainly am.

Last things first: Please answer my oft-posted question. Are you in any way associated with finance, stock markets, brokerage or any entity which would be considered financial in nature? Why not answer the question? Frightened that you would lose respect from the thread if you had to admit a connection? Do not worry about that.

Second, why try to insult my intelligence? "May not be able to follow it" (the math). You are quite transparent in what you are attempting here and you remind me so of my teenagers some years back. Single minded, foccused on an issue, vehement and unwilling to objectivly evaluate any statement or position which does not exactly match your own. Grow up and join the world of adults.

Lastly, what are you doing if not attempting to influence people with the considerable effort you are expending to bring down this stock and to criticize those who are endevouring to discover facts and valid information?

This will be my last post to you as I have far more improtant things to do than expend effort attempting a rational debate with an irrational individual. Take some Prozac, get some therapy or something.

Rick
