Buy SHI, CEA and JCC or any large Chinese ADR on the US markets. They are all around 10s, down from 40s since last July. The Year of Tiger is a turning point for the many things, including how the Chinese think.

Cheap Labor Cost,is it really cheap or a fallacy ??

[Already I see company departures from Malaysia ever seeking lower cost labor, such as the Phillips consumer electronics plant in Penang which shut down in 1987.]

Stitch and all: How cheap is really cheap labor? If one assumes, cheap labor normally can not compete with higher cost labor because the latter usually can outproduce the former because of higher productivity, efficiency, quality etc etc, could one be wrong?? I believe in some cases cheap-labor will turn out to be the higher-cost labor because of the facts mentioned above.

Just a thought.
