I do not disagree with anything you say here. But those one issue candidates can be seen on the left as well as the right. If you believe in your deepest heart felt soul that people who allow abortion are killing babies - you have every right to vote for the only candidate supporting your position no matter how much of a prick your guy is in totality. ......In rural America which is where I am, many people I know are one issue 2nd amendment voters. They think democrats want to take away their guns and republicans will allow them to keep them. End of story! This is party the fault of democrats who have messed up this issue. Are these one issue voters evil? Well a few are of course, but most of them are not.
