Purebull, when asked about the reduced telco spending environment everyone has been worrying about, Charlie replied that played right into Pairgain's strategy. Knip has emphasized this point many times. The longer and slower the telco deployments, the better PAIR does. They make money providing the cheap interim fixes to the telcos. They also develop superior products for the future while those without current revenues spend more cash they can't afford. As time goes on, PAIR becomes a progressively stronger competitor. Baird
