Yes. As also response to syborg I am live in southwest of United States. Not a lot of IT people know Sybase so the choice is obviouse. But at far east of Asia, a lot of people use Powerbuilder with Sybase. Why, Because Sybase own Powerbuilder. The reason Orcle will success simply because it become dominant. Do not forget Lotus or Borland VS Microsoft Do not forget Apple VS IBM clone Do not forget Novell VS TCP/IP Popularity !

You are correct that many of the large sites run software from multiple vendors. That should be expected. The list was in response to a previous post that in effect stated SYBS was not getting any new customers/. I am curious how you came to the conclusion that no Sybase consultants were on site. SYBS has a large consulting organization which is very active with the customer base. Am I correct in interpretting you statement to mean although the companies are SYBS clients they really don't use the software or services? I must be wrong... syborg
