Party's at my house. Bill, you bring the onion dip and pork rinds. I'll get a case of Little Kings Creme Ale and we can all swap foreskin stories. Seriously, this is good news, I guess. I just reviewed some numbers: My cost basis is $10.91 and the stock's at $13 and change, so that represents a 20% gain for me the past 23 months, which ain't really that good. Bottom line: If this cloud of skepticism keeps hanging over ATIS, then what happened today may not provide anything more than a short-term jolt.

Bill, Bruce, and all,

off topic..Bill and Bruce...unfortunately have had a bunch of other things on my plate which weren't expected over the last week or so, so have had a lot of extra stress which has kept me away from much of the market stuff...maybe a blessing in disguise from that end this week, but I'd rather have simply been a bit anxious about the panel meeting instead. Can't elaborate, but I haven't forgotten you guys! Didn't get home til after 9 or so, and just wanted to relax a bit.

on topic...all in all, good news. Rumored that in after hour trading has been anywhere from 14-19, but I haven't seen any actual info on this, so it is only rumor from a friend. Tomorrow will tell us more regarding the short-term movement, although the long-term will need to be followed over just that, the long-term. If anyone loaded up withmore than they are comfortable with as a long-term investment than one has to consider many factors over the next few days or weeks, such as how much was invested for what reasons, as I still believe that a good solid core holding of ATIS in the long haul will be very rewarding. Earnings for dermagraft will matter, but other indications for dermagraft and tc, along with the cartilage study likely getting under way at some point this year, will also matter. Keep in mind companies like Amgen developed pretty high market caps fairly quickly, too, although it is hard to compare with anyone given the new industry, as well as with a company like Amgen, until ATIS proves itself...today wasn't a bad step along the way though. The next question isn't sales as much as actually getting the approval officially. The size of the market cap is still something to keep in mind as one variable here though. Ain't no guarantees that a big move in the next few days will be sustainable, but whether there is a huge move will also need to be seen.

Another issue concerned the votes. ORG's 5-4 vote isn't necessarily a bad thing...first, they got recommended. Second, what did the 4 vote...against approval, or against approval without conditions? Keep in mind that the vote is specifically about one thing. for instance, dermagraft's 7-2 vote, actually had one of the 2 against being a big supporter(voted against need for conditions, not against approval, with the other lone vote being the only negative). Many aspects need to be looked at all times.

Anyway, it's been a long day, not even taking the panel meeting into effect(sorry, Bill...no celebrations or visits to RAIN), so I'm outta here.

Regards,

Marshall

Bill,

I can't agree with you more. I can't wait to see what the first quarter of Dermagraft sales will be in the U.S. I'm sure that won't be until a while off, yet, pending actual FDA approval. The only time I let go of any of my ATIS shares was when Marshall posted that the panel meeting would be postponed. I was very lucky because the asian thing happened the following week-picked up a nice profit and got to buy it all back at 12. I'm kinda surprised that ORG got approved, but happy for them. I've been shorting them since 30-guess it's time to cover. You haven't talked about ORG much. What do you think?

Regards,
Bruce
