Hi Paul,(off topic)

I decided to give Castle Online a try. I did find a SI thread on the company and the handful of posters that have used it there seem to like it OK. Day Traders Online also seems to give it honorable mention. $19.95 per trade up to 10K shares NASDAQ. $19.95 + .01 per share for NYSE trades. $150 per month for Level II quotes. Software for point and click execution on your choice of SOES, SelectNet or ECN. Their website comes up FAST everytime I've tried it, which is more than I can say for a lot of online brokerages. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed and see what it looks like after I get it set up and have had a chance to get a few trades in with them.

Do you think there is any relationship between the stock market and the frequency of the IHOP commercials with the paper boy reading the WSJ?

I liked Ghassans suggestion that E. Schmidt join us here on the thread. I can't see any reason why a CEO would not want to interact with share holders on different threads that have spent countless hours researching a company from the outside. The gene pool at Novell is too inbred, some fresh ideas might even knock some rust off the old boat. Even a rep from IR would make sense. If they can answer or refuse to answer questions on the phone, no reason they couldn't do it in a public forum. Might get flamed every now and then though.

The news is giving the Greenspan speech a "come on in the water's fine" slant. The DOW, Hang Seng and Nikkei are all almost back where they were a few months ago. It's almost like Asia never happened!???

Regards,

Don
