What has happened to this little company? I am impressed!!!

Three years ago, I went to a computer/electronics show in Las Vegas. I went to a booth with nothing more than a few 3D pictures and some circuit boards. I got a blue mousepad that has 3Dfx written on it.

I am still using that mousepad and see products which supports 3Dfx here and there...too bad I missed the train.

Well good luck to you all, but I am not getting in at this price...hyperinflated.

<<Lastly, there is Intel. With their i740, they seem poised to take the graphics chip market by storm.>>

Does anyone remember Intel's 82716, or 82786, or i860? All of these products were Intel's foray into the graphics arena. Where are these products today? Don't assume that Intel has a lock on any market simply because they choose to participate.
